Manuscript Structure

Title

The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. Avoid abbreviations whenever possible.

Abstract

The abstract should contain a brief overview of the study, including the research background, objectives, methods, principal findings, and conclusions. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph and consist of approximately 150–250 words.

Keywords

Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript.

Introduction

The Introduction should provide the background of the study, identify the research problem, review relevant literature, establish the research gap, and clearly state the objectives and significance of the study. Authors should emphasize the novelty and contribution of the research to the fields of religion, society, culture, social change, interfaith relations, or related disciplines.

The Introduction should be presented as a coherent narrative without subheadings.

Research Methods

This section should clearly explain the research design, approach, data sources, participants or research subjects, sampling procedures, data collection techniques, instruments, and data analysis methods.

For studies involving human participants, authors should describe ethical considerations, including informed consent, confidentiality, and institutional ethical approval where applicable.

The description should provide sufficient detail to enable replication or verification of the research.

Results and Discussion

The Results section should present research findings systematically and objectively. Findings may be supported by tables, figures, graphs, charts, photographs, or other visual materials. All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and accompanied by clear titles and source information where necessary.

The Discussion should interpret and critically analyze the findings in relation to previous studies, relevant theories, and contemporary scholarly debates. Authors should explain the significance of the findings, their theoretical and practical implications, and their contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

The Results and Discussion may be presented as separate sections or combined into a single integrated section, depending on the nature of the study.

Conclusion

The Conclusion should summarize the key findings and highlight their scholarly and practical implications. It should directly address the research objectives and avoid repeating detailed discussions or introducing new information.

Recommendations for future research may be included where relevant.

Acknowledgments

Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, research assistants, funding agencies, or organizations that have provided significant support to the research. This section should be concise and limited to direct contributions to the study.

References

All references and in-text citations must follow the APA 7th Edition referencing style.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.

References should meet the following criteria:

  • All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list.

  • All references listed must be cited in the manuscript.

  • Authors are encouraged to prioritize recent and relevant scholarly sources.

  • Wherever possible, references should include DOI information.

  • A substantial proportion of references should come from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last ten years.

Article Length

Manuscripts should normally be between 5,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. Longer manuscripts may be considered if justified by their scholarly contribution.

Language

All submissions must be written in clear, grammatically correct English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally proofread prior to submission.

Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical research conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Peer Review

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations and the manuscript’s overall scholarly quality.
